What me worried?
In one week I will be back on a plane to Japan. Ten years ago when I was 29 years old I boarded a plane to Japan, my 30th birthday ticked over in Osaka, and I saw another six of them too before coming back to OZ in 2010. So now 39, almost ten years later I am doing it again. Although this time it’s not quite the same. This time I have a wife, soon a child, I can actually speak Japanese, and I kind of know what to expect.
Has Japan changed in 10 years? Probably.
Have I? Definitely.
But I can’t wait to get back. Of course it’s going to be different. Cool.
Bring it. I’m ready.

It’ll be interesting to read about what differences you notice since you were last here. Looking forward to updates!
I’ve been away three years and from only a few photos from friends I could see a difference in the Osaka skyline. The sights, sounds, music, and all sorts of media are gonna overwhelm you, hopefully in a good way. I really hope you have a great time! Well, with all of that great food they have of course you will.
